Jada Acosta

Community Health Representative

Jada C. Acosta is an enrolled member of the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe and is the granddaughter of Sandra Charles and Bill White and the daughter of Vashti White and Jeremy Acosta. She has lived in Port Angeles her whole life and previously worked at The Children’s House of Learning as the Administration Assistant for Head Start and with Child Care before that. She is excited to be joining us here at the Health Clinic as the new Community Health Representative. For fun, Jada enjoys going on hikes, playing/ coaching sports, and spending time with friends and family.

Kat Barrow

Community Health Manager

Kat Barrow grew up in the Kansas City area with her parents and younger sister. She played softball and basketball from an early age and played college softball at the University of Nebraska Omaha. Public Health became a passionate area of focus, leading Kat to complete her Master of Public Health degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She has worked in behavioral health centers where she worked with kids with Autism and teens getting treatment for substance use. In Kansas City, she worked with community coalitions to reduce youth substance use and promote mental wellness. She recently moved to the Olympic Peninsula with her husband, Steven, with the goal to explore the remarkable natural beauty of the region and to find a job that centers community connection and alignment with the natural environment. For fun, she enjoys being outside, hiking, gardening, thrifting, and discovering new music.

Audrey Gales

Community Health Representative

Audrey Gales has been part of the Lower Elwha Klallam tribal community for about 10 years and is the daughter of Melissa Gilman and granddaughter of the late Kimba Charles. Previously Audrey worked as the receptionist at the Lower Elwha Justice Center. She can’t wait to join the community health team. In her free time, Audrey enjoys traveling, playing basketball, and practicing her culture.
